FAA regulation – Courier

Dear Customer,

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has introduced a new regulation, and in response, FedEx has implemented updated guidelines. Effective immediately and until further notice, all international and domestic packages (both FedEx and TNT shipments) will require additional inspection before entering the FedEx network.

In addition to existing ROC shipment measures, all shipments from Europe to the USA, Canada, and Australia, or transiting through the USA and Latin America, that are delivered to FedEx locations or picked up by FedEx employees will undergo further screening by dedicated FedEx staff before being processed. As a result, your shipments may experience delays of 1 to 2 days beyond the quoted transit times. This is for both Express and Economy shipments.

Our top priority is the safety and well-being of everyone involved in our operations. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and secure network.

Currently, FedEx is the only courier company that has introduced these additional security measures. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates should there be any changes from FedEx or other courier companies.
