Link Logistics continues the growth and acquisition strategy of recent years with the acquisition of Parcel4You. Headquartered in Denmark with offices in the Netherlands and Poland and an extensive network in Europe and the UK, Parcel4You delivers postal shipments from companies across Europe to consumers globally.
The acquisition of Parcel4You solidifies Link Logistics’ position in the courier and e-commerce market as the expansion with Parcel4You’s postal product sharpens the already strong product portfolio. The acquisition is an important addition to Link Logistics’ one-stop-shop approach, which is based on customer demand.
Link Logistics is market leading in courier and e-commerce solutions and entered into a partnership with Parcel4You in 2020 to the benefit of customers with larger parcel volumes. Uniting the two companies is a natural development of the already close collaboration.
“Parcel4You has a strong team, a solid network and a competitive product, which we look forward to integrating in Link. We see strong synergies and exciting opportunities for customers in both Link and Parcel4You. Customers are always our first priority, and we are very pleased to be able to offer them new products and expanded service,” says Anders Martens, CEO of Link Logistics.
Based on Link Logistics’ 14 locations in four markets and Parcel4You’s international network, the acquisition creates great opportunities in the growing e-commerce market in both Europe and the US. The combined company will have 320 employees and annual revenue exceeding DKK 1 billion.
This supports Link Logistics’ focus on generating organic growth supplemented by expansion of the business through acquisitions across the group’s markets. In 2021, Link Logistics acquired YOYO Global Freight to create the leading Nordic logistics partner in courier transportation. The acquisition of Tangen Logistics followed in 2022 to strengthen the position in Norway. In 2023, the Norwegian presence was further expanded with the opening of an office in Bergen, and Link Logistics furthermore strengthened the American business by opening offices in Miami and JFK Airport in New York.
“We have greatly appreciated the close collaboration with Link Logistics and look forward to becoming part of the family. Together, we will have more muscle and a stronger product offering for the customers, enabling us to accelerate growth. Parcel4You holds great potential, which we are confident that we can now unleash together with our good colleagues in Link Logistics,” says Thomas Bloch, founder and CEO of Parcel4You.
Parcel4You continues operations under the Link Parcel4You brand, and management continues unchanged. The ownership change does not entail changes in customer relationships or terms. In connection with the transaction, Thomas Bloch will invest in Link Logistics. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
