Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
In July 2023, Link received approval of our Science Based Targets through SBTi's predefined SME route. Therefore, we committed to reducing absolute scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year.
By working with SBTi, we strengthen our target-setting and ensure alignment with the Paris Agreement. For instance, we plan to replace all company-owned diesel and gasoline vehicles with electric alternatives. Additionally, our target is for over 80% of company vehicles to be fully or partially electric by 2025.
When we engage in environmental projects, we align with SBTi to reduce our overall carbon footprint. Consequently, we contribute meaningfully to lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
UN Global Compact
Link joined the UN Global Compact in 2021. A requirement for our participation is that we produce an annual report that details our work to embed the Ten Universal Principles in our strategies and operations, as well as efforts to support societal priorities and commitment to sustainability. The initiative approved our first report in October 2021.

Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs)
To help us reach our goals, we signed the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) in December 2022. Consequently, we use the WEPs as a framework for future strategic work with gender equality. Moreover, the WEPs are informed by international labor and human rights standards.
They recognize that businesses have both a stake in and responsibility for gender equality and women’s empowerment. Additionally, the WEPs include a Gender Gap tool used to measure progress and initiatives within gender equality. We aim to elevate our WEP score, and in 2023, we moved from beginners to improvers. Thus, we demonstrated clear progress in our gender equality efforts.
We value the importance of diversity in our working environment. Furthermore, we support all genders in opportunities and career goals and maintain zero tolerance for gender discrimination. We also encourage employees to act with kindness and promote an inclusive culture. Consequently, we help prevent adverse impacts on their own or others’ human rights.
